Recall there was water damage on the ceiling and down some walls in the lovely, vintage 1926 lavender and black bathroom with the lavender ceiling and walls and black and white fish swimming all around the room. I didn’t think Silverio would be able to match the faux painting of the lavenderish wash on the ceiling and walls but he did it! He did an incredible beautiful job! Don’t waste him painting ordinary rooms. The man is an artist!

I used Doherty Restoration again for drywall and painting work in 3 more rooms in my house.  John Burke was very responsive, quote was competitive, and the quality of work was to my expectations.  Again, very respectful of my home.  This second project hasn't change my mind.  Still 5 stars.

For more than 8 years I have owned a business in the Marina which has been through many remodels, repairs, and nearly as many different contractors.  Finally I was introduced to Doherty Restoration.  The entire Doherty Restoration team has shined so brightly in planning, execution, as well as communication that I will not work with anyone else in the future.  In our situation it has to be right the first time, on a deadline, every time... or we lose revenue. What these guys have done for us over the course of multiple phases of a remodel has been nothing short of miraculous... and all while staying open nearly 100% of the time.  The work they have accomplished here exhibits high form as well as high function, under demanding conditions, and punishing deadlines... and all in compliance with San Francisco building Dept.

It was very pleasant working with Frances Doherty who runs the office. She explained the whole process very clearly to me and set out my expectations. I then spoke with one of the head contractors who told me what supplies I needed to purchase in advance. The day of the painting, our worker arrived on time and with a smile on his face. It was a very easy, enjoyable experience working with the Doherty team.
