PRO BONO WORK
Whitney Young Child Development Center
Two locations: Bayview Hunters Point, Western Addition
We have had our Christmas holiday cards made by Whitney Young Child Development Center children for over 18 years, all benefits go directly to the children’s art program.
Frances Doherty has served on the Volunteer Board of Directors for Whitney Young Child Development Center for over 20 years, Frances currently holds an officer position as Treasurer.
Work performed at either of these centers is done pro bono, amounting to thousands of dollars saved to the center.
Rebuilding Together (formally known as Christmas In April)
Doherty Restoration, Inc. has partnered with Rebuilding Together for over 15 years to produce Lead Safe work sites for the volunteers who will work at child centers, private homes where children reside, and schools. All our work with Rebuilding Together was at no cost to this great non profit.
Good Tidings Foundation
In an effort to assist the great work of the Good Tidings Foundation, we will do their paint work for free or at a reduced cost to the non profit.
Every year Frances Doherty has the honor to be a part of the Scholarship Committee for this great organization.
Strides for Life Colon Cancer Foundation
Patrick & Frances Doherty and their children participate in two fundraising events each year for this non profit, Frances is currently on Strides for Life Colon Cancer Foundation Volunteer Board of Directors.
